We are seeking an experienced Water & Sewerage Technical Officer to assist with the implementation of changes under the legislation & to oversee daily operations of the water and sewerage treatment plants.
Council will provide accommodation and assist with travel expenses.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Experience in the supervision of the day-to-day operations of water and sewerage treatment and plumbing services;
- Experience in developing & reviewing procedure manuals to ensure compliance with legislation;
- Experience in planning & implementing legislation changes;
- Experience in interpreting technical specifications;
- Wide knowledge of water and sewerage treatment plant operations, environmental health and operation and maintenance of bores and pumps;
- Experience in pipe works and/or reticulation operations; and
- Certificate III Water Industry is highly desirable.
